Check with seller HR / Volunteer Coordinator for Large Events or Field Operations

We are seeking a structured, people-oriented, and resilient HR & Volunteer Coordinator to manage the human capital lifecycle during our large-scale events and field operations. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of event personnel, from recruitment and credentialing to on-site scheduling and performance management. If you possess a passion for team building, experience in high-volume staffing, and the ability to maintain organizational standards in dynamic, high-pressure environments, this is a pivotal role that will drive the operational success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Staffing & Recruitment: Develop and execute recruitment strategies for event staff and volunteers, managing applicant screening, interviews, and orientation sessions.
Credentialing & Documentation: Ensure all personnel have the necessary clearances, training certifications, and signed waivers required for site access and specific operational roles.
Operational Scheduling: Coordinate complex shift schedules for staff and volunteers across multiple event zones, ensuring optimal coverage and compliance with labor regulations.
On-Site Personnel Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for staff concerns during events, managing check-ins, uniform distribution, and daily briefings.
Performance & Recognition: Monitor team performance, address conduct issues in real-time, and implement recognition programs to foster morale and retention.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and incident reporting procedures, ensuring all personnel are trained on emergency evacuation and health standards.
Post-Event Reporting: Analyze staffing efficiency, turnover rates, and volunteer feedback to provide data-driven recommendations for future operational planning.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; SHRM or similar HR certification is a plus.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in HR, volunteer management, or high-volume operational staffing, ideally in the events or field operations industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HRIS or volunteer management software (e.g., VolunteerMatters, SignUpGenius, or similar platforms).
Strong aptitude for scheduling software and time-tracking systems.
Ability to manage high-volume personnel documentation and digital record-keeping.
